I have had a passion for fishing from a young age. My first fishing experiences include fishing my local estuary the Barwon River for bream, salmon and trevally using bait. As my passion for fishing grew I discovered soft plastics and took a instant liking to the technique.
These days I target a number of species using soft plastics and hard body lures in around the geelong region and further abroad when I have the time. My favorite species to catch include snapper, bream and trout. Damiki motor oil 4inch Ripper is my first choice when chasing snapper in Port Phillip bay and always produces the best results. When chasing the wary educated bream that inhabit the local creeks and estuary my favorite plastic is the Damiki monster miki 2.5inch, time and time again the monster miki has proven to work in all conditions. Another favorite Damiki lure is the Tokon Vib-80 as i have found it deadly on Australian salmon whether it be casting into a bust up or spinning from the surf beach.
My ambitions for the year to come is to enter the VIC bream classic and other fishing tournaments and learn the most I can out of this experience. Further to this I would like to head north and get stuck into some barramundi.
