My name is Pete “slim” Bostock. I am on the north coast of NSW which for a bloke who loves to fish competitively is the ideal location. I started fishing when I could walk. My dad would tie me to his back and climb down the rock walls of Lennox head to chase tailor. These days I fish mainly from a kayak. I love the stealty approach and the fact that you can lose weight and still fish.
I travel all over the place to fish in both the ABT and KFT tournaments. I fish most of the Bass electrics out of my yak and love sticking it to the boaters. I was one of the few kayakers to fish the Dave Irvine Snapper Memorial and the ABT Barra classic at Monduran. The most pleasure I get these days however is taking out foster kids and showing them the world of kayak fishing.
During the week I can be found most days either chasing bass or bream on the Richmond river where I am just beginning to do some guiding. Pontoon 21 Crackjack lures are the first on and last off accounting for the majority of fish that are brought to my Yak.
